A New Look For An Old Friend
Wilderness Systems Tarpon Series
One of the most exciting developments of the new kayak season appears to be the face-lift that the Wilderness Systems Tarpon series received. The Tarpon 100, 120, 140 and 160 will have a distinctively new look and major upgrades this fall.
All of the Tarpon models have been outfitted with the Phase 3 seating system previously only available with their high-end sit inside models. The Phase 3 seating system will give you the highest level of comfort and fit, allowing you to paddle and fish for hours without fatigue.
Wildy didn't stop with the seat system, they also increased the tankwell size and added Orbix hatches. The new hatch system allows easy access and stays tightly secured on the water or during transport. The molded mesh pockets are certainly not a new idea but are a welcome addition. If you were looking for more areas to customize, the Slidetrax accessory rail will allow you to clip-on and easily adjust some really cool accessories.
The new Tarpons will be available mid-September and early October so make sure you make your pre-orders now. With the re-design and all of the new features you will notice that the prices are going up on the new models, so don't miss out on your chance to get a 2008 model at a savings. We still have some 2008 stock of 120, 140 and 160's.

New Products from ACK
Yakima Bowdown The Yakima BowDown with its locking option allows me to leave the racks on my vehicle and it folds down when not in use. Another great feature is that the BowDown fits round, square, and most factory crossbars right out of the box.
Yakima Big Stack The Big stack allows me to carry up to 4 boats at one time, safely and securely. The upgrades in material and security are a welcome improvement. Like the BowDown, the locking mechanism allows me to leave the racks in place with no worries.
